The Hyundai i10 is a small but practical rival to city cars like the Volkswagen Up, Kia Picanto, Toyota Aygo, Seat Mii and Skoda Citigo. If you’re after the best Hyundai i10 deals, read on to discover more about each trim level and the offers currently available.

A five-year unlimited mileage warranty is one of the Hyundai i10’s key selling points. When the car is sold on the cover is transferred to the next owner, so you have a little extra peace of mind when buying a used version.

Not that you’ll necessarily need the warranty, as the Hyundai i10 has a great reputation for being one of the most reliable cars you can buy. All versions come with five doors, while the luggage capacity is pretty good for a car so small. The boot can swallow a number of shopping bags, but the 60:40 split rear seats fold down to provide more space if you need it.

There are three efficient petrol engines to choose from: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder that’s great in the city, a 1.2-litre four-cylinder that’s ideal for longer trips, and a 1.0-litre turbocharged version. The turbocharged engine powers the sporty N Line edition and is a great choice for keen drivers.

If the Hyundai i10 sounds like the city car for you, read on for the best deals on the SE, SE Connect, Premium and N Line versions.

Best Hyundai i10 deals

Hyundai i10 SE deals

With a price tag around £13,000, the entry-level Hyundai i10 SE is one of the cheapest new cars in the UK. However, you can still save plenty of money by going for a nearly new or used version.

You don’t get a choice of engines when buying an i10 in SE trim. Instead, you’re limited to the non-turbocharged 1.0-litre unit, which comes with a smooth five-speed manual gearbox. It’s fine for pottering around town, but you might want to upgrade if you spend more time on motorways.

On the plus side, insurance costs should be low thanks to a group 4 rating, while running costs are kept in check with the promise of strong 56.5mpg fuel economy. That makes it the most fuel efficient Hyundai i10 you can get.

The SE trim is well kitted out for an entry-level model, if a little short on glamour - it’s the only i10 without alloy wheels. Instead, you get 14-inch steel wheels, cruise control, manual air-conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, a digital radio, steering wheel audio/phone/cruise controls and a single USB port.

There’s a good suite of safety and assistance systems, including autonomous emergency braking, hill-start assist, lane departure warning system and tyre pressure monitoring.

Hyundai i10 SE Connect deals

Upgrade to the SE Connect trim, and the starting price increases to around £14,000. That’s based on the same engine and gearbox; opting for the automatic transmission adds another £500 to the price.

Alternatively, the SE Connect trim can be equipped with a non-turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is a worthwhile step up if you intend to take the car on longer trips. An automatic gearbox is available, but in all cases it’s best avoided unless you have to have an automatic, as it reduces the engines' performance and fuel economy.

SE Connect offers the best level of equipment for the money, making it the sweet spot of the i10 range. You get 15-inch alloy wheels, a rear-view camera, Bluetooth with voice recognition, an eight-inch touchscreen media system, two additional speakers, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Hyundai i10 Premium deals

In Premium spec, the i10 offers big car equipment in a small package. The engine options are the same as the SE Connect, but prices range from just shy of £15,000 to around £16,000. Metallic paint is a £550 option across the range, while a two-tone paint job costs £500.

This version comes with larger 16-inch alloy wheels, a gloss black front grille, honeycomb design detail on the dashboard and inside of the doors, heated front seats, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, projection headlights, rear privacy glass and a heated steering wheel.

Look out for Premium and N Line models with the optional Tech Pack. This costs £1,000 when added on a new car and comprises a larger touchscreen media system, enhanced smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad and a speed limit warning system. The pack is unlikely to add a significant amount to the price of a used i10, so it’s worth finding an example with this desirable upgrade fitted if you fancy it.

Hyundai i10 N Line deals

The N Line feels more like a special model than a trim level, not least because it comes with a sporty 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 100hp. It’s great fun to drive, making it a rival to the Volkswagen Up GTI.

It costs roughly the same as an i10 Premium 1.2 automatic when new, so buying a used example won’t break the bank. Highlights include 16-inch alloy wheels, cosmetic upgrades, N Line gear knob and steering wheel, black roof lining, black cloth seats with red stitching, LED rear lights, plus rear disc brakes for increased stopping power.

You don’t get a heated steering wheel with the N Line, so you’ll need to go for the Premium model if you fancy keeping your hands warm behind the wheel.
